    Published on: October 08, 2008

Boston.com catches up with "Body of Lies" director Ridley Scott. Adapted from the best selling novel by David Ignatius, Scott believes that the film relates to our choice to have humanitarian behavior - or not. Which he stresses is an important and fundamental desicion for american citizens. The director also chats about his personal style when working with actors and the encouragement they recieve to participate in the development of the film. "Body of Lies" is out in theaters October 10th.

"...Everything's an evolution. So they're encouraged - well, not Russell and Leo, they're not going to be shy in coming forward, believe me! - but I mean, if I've got someone coming in new, like Mark Strong [the character Hani in "Body of Lies"], I hadn't worked with him before and I really enjoyed that experience, so I liked to include him in the process. Everything, right down to how he looks. What do you think, what do you think, what do you think?"
